01Which documents are required for a request?+
Ideally, provide a 2D drawing or 3D CAD model together with the material, quantity, required delivery date and any special quality requirements. We can also start technical clarification from a sketch.
02How quickly will I receive a response?+
We normally contact you personally within one business day. For complex assemblies or missing information, we first clarify the technical details with you.
03Can you handle one-off parts and small batches?+
Yes. The network supports one-off parts, prototypes, replacement parts, small batches and recurring series requirements.
04Who receives my drawings and contact details?+
F&E Metallbau remains your central contact. Contact details are not shared with partners; technical documents are only provided to selected manufacturing partners where required for quotation review.
05Which file formats can I upload?+
Supported formats are PDF, STEP, STP, DXF, DWG, JPG, PNG, XLSX and XLS. The limit is 20 MB per file and 60 MB in total.
06Is the request free of charge?+
Yes. The manufacturing request and initial technical review are non-binding. Costs only arise after you expressly place an order.
07Where is the manufacturing network located?+
Our network is European, with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe. F&E Metallbau in Germany handles the technical review, partner selection and central project communication.
08How are quality and delivery capability secured?+
Partners are selected for the process, material, quality requirement, capacity and delivery date of the specific project. Inspection and documentation requirements are agreed before an order is placed.
