Your data

Privacy policy

This information explains how personal data is processed when you use lohnfertigung.work.

1. Controller

F & E Metallbau GmbH
Lüdeweg 10, 26871 Papenburg, Germany
Phone: +49 (0) 4961 916 616
Email: info@fe-metallbau-gmbh.de

2. Accessing the website

When you access the website, technically necessary connection data may be processed, including IP address, time, requested page, referrer, browser and device information, and technical status data. This processing ensures secure and stable website operation and is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Manufacturing requests and uploads

When you submit a request, we process the contact and project data you provide, including your name, company, email address, phone number, manufacturing process, quantity, project description and uploaded documents. This data is used to assess your request, answer questions, prepare quotations and initiate a possible business relationship.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, where consent is given, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

4. Partner network

For feasibility and quotation purposes, technical project data and documents may be shared with specifically selected manufacturing partners where necessary. Contact details are only transmitted where required for processing. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Project processing via contractwork.eu

For technical and commercial processing, manufacturing requests including contact details, project data and supplied documents may be transmitted in encrypted form to the contractwork.eu project platform operated by Prosteel Group. Data is transferred only for the specific request. File access is time-limited and technically signed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, where applicable, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

6. Internal project-centre login

Approved employees use a passwordless email one-time code. Supabase Auth, operated by Supabase, Inc., generates and verifies the code. Only the approved business email address and technically required sign-in and session data are transmitted. Project and inquiry data remains in lohnfertigung.work.

7. Email communication

After a request is received, we send a confirmation to the email address provided and an internal notification to F & E Metallbau. We use Microsoft Exchange from IONOS for email communication. Sender, recipient, content and technical delivery data are processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

8. Technical service providers

We use technical service providers for hosting, databases, file storage, access protection and email delivery. They process data only to the extent required and under contractual data-protection provisions. Any processing outside the EU or EEA is performed only in accordance with legal requirements and appropriate safeguards.

9. Retention period

Manufacturing requests that do not result in an order, together with their documents, are generally deleted 24 months after processing has ended. The internal project centre marks these cases separately and makes them available for controlled deletion after the retention period.

If an order is placed, contract and accounting documents are retained for the applicable statutory periods. Business correspondence is generally retained for six years and accounting records for eight years; longer retention may apply where legal claims or other statutory duties require it.

10. Required information

Fields marked as required are necessary to process your request. Without this information, we cannot accept the request. All other information is voluntary.

11. Google Ads and consent

If you agree in the consent panel, we load the Google Ads tag provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It allows page visits and successfully submitted manufacturing enquiries to be attributed to an advert and helps us measure advertising effectiveness. The tag is not loaded without your consent, and personalised advertising signals are disabled in our configuration.

Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time through “Privacy settings”. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and applicable telecommunications privacy law. Google may process data in third countries subject to its applicable safeguards and privacy terms.

Independently of this, when an enquiry is submitted, the landing page, referring domain and campaign parameters such as source, medium, campaign, search term and advert variant may be stored with the enquiry. This is used to attribute concrete enquiries; it does not create a cross-site visitor profile. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

12. Your rights

Subject to legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn for the future at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, contact info@fe-metallbau-gmbh.de.

13. Security and changes

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. This privacy policy may be updated when functions, service providers or legal requirements change.
